Indiana General Assembly Recognizes INAHOF Commitment to State's Aviation Legacy

CARMEL, INDIANA  May 11, 2021 – On March 18, 2021, the Indiana General Assembly adopted House Resolution 23, which recognizes the Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame (INAHOF) for its commitment and dedication in honoring the legacy of the significant and lasting contributions to aeronautics within Indiana and beyond the state by the Indiana Aviation Hall of Fame enshrinees.

The INAHOF was established as a non-profit corporation to recognize honor, and perpetuate the memory of special individuals or companies making an enduring contribution to aviation or aerospace in Indiana, the nation, or the world through achievement, leadership, exceptional service, or entrepreneurial spirit.

INAHOF named a Legacy Class of nine remarkable aviators, industrialists, and astronauts in 2020. Each Legacy Class Member was previously enshrined in the National Aviation Hall of Fame in Dayton, Ohio.

In May, 2021, the Board of Directors elected eight outstanding aviators and entrepreneurs as the Class of 2021 for induction into INAHOF.  These special men and woman will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the INAHOF Honors Banquet on October 1, 2021, in Carmel, Indiana.
